APRIL 2018

TOUR
BPDS headed off to Rimini with ilovetour for a week of fun! Days being silly on the beach and dancing the night away made for an amazing tour!! Big thanks to our tour secs for arranging the best week ever!
FEBRUARY 2018
​
This year BPDS held our first ever Showcase!! We performed all 5 of our competitions pieces as well as other fun group, duet and solo dances! It went down a treat and we managed to raise £364 for our society! Thank you to all our dancers, stewards and tech team for making it such a huge success! JUNE 2017​

BPDS won 'club of the year' for 2016/17! So much hard work went into this and we know there was a lot of tough competition! We couldn't be prouder and more determined to continue our success!
DECEMBER 2017
​
We were very lucky to meet Professional Dancer and Strictly Come Dancing Judge, Shirley Ballas! She came to give a Cha Cha masterclass to BPDS and our friends, as a charity event to raise money for Grassroots Suicide Pevention! In total we raised an amazing £520!!
FEBRUARY 2018

We helped one of our ex-members propose to her boyfriend by performing a flashmob! It was an excellent day and HE SAID YES! You can watch the video on youtube ...

OCTOBER 2017
​
Our Halloween Bake Sale was a huge success. We baked and bought cakes and cookies of all shapes and sizes, selling them to raise money for Grassroots Suicide Prevention Charity!!
DECEMBER 2016
​
BPDS made 17 shoeboxes filled with gifts for OCC and Samaritans Purse! We were so glad everyone got on board and made the effort to create something that would put a smile on a child's face.
MARCH 2017​
​
The local newspaper covered our story of fundraising over £1000 in order to get to one of the biggest inter university dance competitions! This year was a huge success and bringing home 5 trophies and even more memories!
MARCH 2018
​
Ours panthers competed at Sussex and Loughborough interuniversity dance competitions, judged by professional dancers! Our tap squad placed 1st at both competitions!! At Loughborough, novice contemporary won 3rd place (breaking BPDS history) and BPDS as a whole won best team spirit!! A very successful year!
JUNE 2018
​
BPDS won 'club of the year' for 2017/2018! We are all extremely proud winning this award for the second year in a row! We have worked so hard this year, making BPDS history at competitions and raising a lot of money, we cannot wait to see what next year will bring!
